Devils Own Water/Meth Injection

Can't manually operate the flap on the throttle body, it can damage it. if he just shoved paper in the throttle body he could have unintentionally damaged it so you may need to start there first.

Will the P1182 (super charger inlet pressure sensor) if dirty throw that code and also cause it to go into the eng power shut down mode? Meaning are they related to the same issue?

Ok well that code never came back. But the engine power reduced came on and went into a form of limp mode again. I think the other sensor most likely is dirty or a bad connection due to him spray painting the super charger. would that make sense of the Ther sensor is dirty or bad connection?

What would toast it? After everything was put on I drove it around last night for maybe a half hour. I didn't beat it because I'm pretty sure the cooler pump isn't working properly. But I can try that, disconnect neg and pos or just pos?
#36
Disconnect both you really just want to get the ecm to reset. Give it about 20 mins or so. And I'm not exactly sure why but every time I've seen our cars go into reduce power mode, it's always been the throttle body.

It has 112,000 on it. in the past week I went from on a cai.
To header,dp, full cat back magnaflow exhaust 2.7 pulley 60# injectors ottp stage 3 ( not the harrop) with tune.
Only thing different is I switched the AEM filter with a K&N filter and he painted the super charger. I just took the scip sensor out because it had the stupid P1182 code and I cleaned it and the check engine light went off. Took it around the block and as soon as I gave it mod throttle went right into engine power reduced. I'll go disconnect battery now.

Haven07 - so I disconnected it for 20min
Reconnected and drove it around my block - moderate throttle 3,000-4000 rpm here and there along with normal 5th gear at 60 for about 25min and no codes no engine power bs and no inlet sensor. No check engine light at all. However last night it didn't do it at all either only early today when I got home. do you think not disconnecting the battery during the whole process could have confused the PCM? Coolant gets pretty hot quick tho 180s-193 but right now it's also 80° outside and like 500% humidity.
And Is it normal that I have to keep filling the stupid super charger coolant after each drive after installing a gen 4 ottp heat exchanger with no option B? is that pump related or just how it goes?

You prob have a lot of air in the system that's why you have to keep on filling and you should definitely pick up an option b set-up. It's one of the more important mods for our cars When supercharged and quality wise, Powell makes the best kit

I've seen option B on both zzp and ottp sites. Besides more coolant what exactly does it do?
And so I need to get a dual pass end plate for it? I'm very new to the Mod world and this isy daily driver besides a POS 1994 Z71 pick up for winter .
What are benefits of option B? I do know I need a new coolant pump for the S/C which I ordered but due to Labor Day I'll have to wait probably till Tuesday so I'm kind of babying it until then. I also ordered the aero force interceptor to keep track of the IAT /IAT2's.
Any other suggestions or information is greatly appreciated. What do you have?

Just as a comment, all of this after market **** needs to come with instructions.
Zzp and ottp anything you get is basically like you should know how to do it. Should give detailed how to directions including hose route diagrams and other helpful information.

Option b constantly bleeds air from the heat exchanger an adds some capacity. It also removes the coolant fill by supercharger and adds a second reservoir. It's a beautiful thing and makes bleeding air out the system sooooooooooooooo much easier. When you install if just make sure you raise the passenger side of the car up to help it out(thx bluelnf for that tip!)
And look on these forums for the Powell sticky thread and get in contact with John if you get this kit. While there's nothing wrong with ottp and zzp's kits, the Powell kit has certain little tweaks the others don't that take into consideration the concept of fluid flow. Definitely worth the money
Also don't get the zzp dual pass, it leaks into the intake manifold.

right on, so I know the 2 coolant systems are seperate. So dumb question. The reservoir on the driver side is for the engine radiator only? And the little fill spout for the super charger coolant has a much smaller reservoir and the option B makes the super charger coolant tank bigger then the engine coolant reservoir/overfill container? And would the bad/weak SC coolant pump be a reason I have to fill besides the air in the system situation or not related?
#45
There isn't a reservoir for the heat exchanger system stock. And as far as I know the only thing that would cause you to have to keep filling up is either air working its way out the system or a leak somewhere.
And yes the reservoir on the drivers side is for the engine cooling system

No leaks, ok so option B basically creates a reservoir for the after market heat exchanger( inter cooler) for much more coolant/water mix to flow through instead of a minimal amount being recycled. And more coolant/water mix volume stays cooler since it takes longer to heat up more coolant then less. Basic thermal dynamics. it's a reservoir for the super charger coolant?

Does the Powell racing option B actually come with install directions, brackets and hose diagram?
If I get option B I'm getting dual pass at same time. Which means another $30 green I-ring lol
