difference between clutch slip and driver error
difference between clutch slip and driver error
So i just got my 60s and 2.8 installed and i cant determine if it is driver error or my clutch is slipping. I used to be able while driving around 35mph in 2nd be able to rev it up and drop the clutch and it would hold. Now when i do that it slips like crazy. Not that that matters to much but what im more concerned about is when i WOT shift 2-3 and i make sure i let off of the clutch completely before stomping on the gas i still get clutch slip. But when i just punch it from a 40 to the top of 2nd i get no slip at all. What do you guys think.
drive at about 25 and put in in 5th gear and hit the gas if it revs up its ur clutch...if it bogs then your fine you just need to do a driver mod and dont shift below 3000rpm and dont cruise below 2000rpm
I just started doing that but i have a question. So at about 30mph crusing in 2nd i am not yet at 3k RPMs so do i just cruise in second at around 2750 rpms?
When i do that in 5th it bogs bad

Can someone answer this question

When you go through the gears do you ever fell any hesitation? I know that my clutch slips and if you want to know what it feels like let me know cause I will take you for a ride in my car.
or i could just let you drive mine and tell me what you think? Pm me maybe we can work something out i have spring break the 20-27
thats driver error.
you cant speed shift these like friggin hondas. you gotta make sure your foot is completely off the gas before letting out the clutch, then be sure the clutch is completely out before giving it more gas.
also dont shift until you get traction in the current gear.

you can go into 3rd, you don't have to stay in 2nd.
