Crank case pressure is getting to hi

volsfan92 04-16-2012 06:09 PM

That's what I'm thinking.. and I've read that thread and I already replaced the gasket.. idk what else to do

SlowCobaltSS 04-16-2012 06:16 PM

Do what I did
1. Get in the cobalt and start it up Let the car warm up at 130
2. Put it in first gear and drive to the local dealership
3.Trade the car in

Lol I just spent a lot of money on a rebuild and I would be so upside down on trade

Its just a question .But what would that have to do with the dipstick poping out?

mrbelvedere 04-16-2012 08:22 PM

if the cylnders werent prepped with the right grit hone and then cleaned very very very throughly then it will make it extremly hard if not impossable to get the rings to seat which is more then likly the reason his dipstick is popping
