Diy: Meth inj.

my friend said i could just by the pump run it from my washer fluid tank is this correct and if so how would i go about it. other than a throttle body spacer can i put it in somewhere else? what would i use on the sprayer side? my friend just has me thinking. if this sounds about right help would be great on how to hook it up. thanks ronnie

I was wondering the same thing because I want to do the same... You could just tap into the air intake???

I know you would need a controller so it was progressive or only hit when boost hits like 5 psi.

Just buy a kit bc it comes with the controller so it activates at a certain psi. That way u can tune for it. a decent meth mix will lower ur a/f...

the washer fluid pump will not have enough pressure to atomize the fuel.. so it will be spraying droplets of methanol into the engine, instead of a mist...

I did a DIY kit, but bought a real pump to go in it.

my washer tank is tapped, just buy a fitting and tap a low spot on the tank, i tapped it about an inch above the fluid pump, that way if any junk gets in the tank, it won't be sucked up into the meth pump.

mine was a coolingmist kit, not even sure if they're still in business or not

uhhh well you flip the lever that squirts your windows, and washer fluid sprays out and the wipers go back and forth. or you can stop at the local gas station and use a squeegee <sp>

there are types of washer fluid that have alcohol in them, think there is a thread somewhere listing the brands/types that you can use and the quantity of alky mixed in them
