Does Stage one require Premium Fuel

Does stage on require premium Fuel? Or is mid grade ok for it?

You should be running your car on premium anyway.

At least 91 octane.

i don't see why anyone would want to use less than premium. yes, you CAN run less than premium, but not for nothing, if you can't afford that extra 2-3 dollars per fillup, you probably shouldn't be modding your car.

Exactly, I have never run lower then 92 in mine as stock. Never ran lower then 93 after staged.

I watched a Stage 2 balt with a cat-back put down 205 to the wheels on 87. Its a nice way to lose 50hp.

Doesn't the manual even mention to use 91 or higher octane with the SS/SC?

maybe the manual in canada is different but it says 91 is recommended, not required. it says putting in 87 will result in a decrease in performance.. but its not gonna kill your (stock) cobalt

but its been said already, why would you want to put lower than 91???
