Don't use the washers from ZZP with the header/dp combo

Here are what mine look like after just about 6 weeks. I should have known not to use these cheapo washers with grade 8 bolts/nuts. Maybe I just got the wrong ones? I dunno...i went and picked up some grade 8 washers, I hope those stand up.

wtf.....looks more like u overtightend the hell outta it and they started to bend LOL or i could just be wrong

Well after I installed it first it was fine for a few days, then there was a really bad exhaust leak coming from between the header and downpipe. So I got under there and tightened everything back up. That was about 5 weeks ago and when I did that they were still flat before and after i tightened them. Started noticing an exhaust leak again, got under there and thats what I found.

sounds more like a cracked seal or something thats kinda screwy i would say the d/p / header flanges are thick enough oyu could go without the washers but dunno..sounds weird though dude

Its fine now, with the new washers, i tightened everything back up and took her for a spin, no more leak. Hopefully these hold up.
