Angry Door handle?!?!?!

Ok here is the story. I locked my keys in the trunk. While waiting for the tow truck guy I tried to use a coat hanger to get the lock or push the auto lock button. Well I grab the door handle and give it a little tug (nothing crazy at all, kinda like if you pull it open when you think its unlocked and its locked) well low and behold the handle snapped off in my hand.

Anyone have any idea how to replace a door handle and/or where I can get a new one?!?!?!

Thanks!!

Warranty issue? I'd take it to the dealer if you have warranty left , it covers bumper-bumper DO NOT LET THEM KNOW ABOUT THE HANGER

I locked my key in the car once with the trunk open, I had to push my subwoofer box aside and squeeze thru a hole into the backseat, the hole was about 12" x 16" square lol. I guess it pays to weigh 100 pounds

why did you put the keys in the trunk anyways? just looking for a good time?

look on the bright side... the locksmith can open the trunk easier than they can open doors... not as much to screw up.

Didnt do it on purpose. I put my keys in the bag i was holding. Then put the two new golf bags i just got (mine and my bros) in the trunk, grabbed the shopping bag and put it in the trunk, closed the trunk.... "CRAP!!!! I just locked my keys in the trunk!". The tow truck guy was on his way to get the door (took 30 seconds) but while i waited i wanted to see if i could do it myself instead of waiting. I'm tellin ya, it wasnt even hard. Just a little tug nothing crazy. I could understand if i was pulling on it or gave it a good yank but i just did it a little harder then a "test to see if its unlocked". Blew my mind that it snapped like that.

I locked my keys in my car as well. I just used a wood wedge on top of the door and used a coat hanger to pull up the lock. tthen opend it like it was unlocked.

That sucks. I've pulled on the handle pretty hard (like one of those times when you think it's unlocked and it isn't) and luckily have not had the same result. Now I've got one more thing besides the sunroof to be paranoid about.
