Downpipe vs Header/Downpipe

Well, my downpipe has a massive leak at the flex joint... I'm weighing the pros/cons of buying a downpipe or getting the mid-length. Both options would be through ZZP.

How much of a benefit would I have with the header vs just the stock manifold and downpipe... I am having trouble justifying spending the extra $200+ but I think in the future, the header may be a good route to take...

Opinions?...

My opinion.... You're either gonna get the ZZP DP now, and later down the road get the bad mab header.. orrrrr you're gonna make the right choice the first time and just get the ZZP long tube header

Also.. You might not see a big difference from any exhaust work right now.. but the further you get into modding, you're gonna be glad you got what you got.

Spending money sucks

Spending it sucks, getting the part in the mail does not suck, neither does putting it on your car or driving with it.. but still, seeing money come outta the bank sucks haha

I wish I had money. I don't get enough in student loans so now I can't buy any mods

Get an extrude honed GM performance manifold that is also ported, with a 2.5 inch catted downpipe from zzp.

Get a zzp longtube and 3" catted dp with a 2.5 exit...i hurd it sounds sick with the stock exhaust..then later get the zzp 2.5" catback and u will have a very nice sounding exhaust. And that should handle most ppls mods.
