2.50" Outter diameter at the flex-joint.

Most of your dimensions are correct ....

2.250" I.D. @ 3-bolt entrance flange
2.785" O.D. Front/rear of cat, and a portion after rear 02 sensor
2.250" dimpled portion for rear 02 sensor
2.354" O.D. neck down portion before 2-bolt exit flange

Yes.

ZZP has a 3" downpipe that will bolt up to the stock exhaust.

thanks! i really would like to buy it but someday id like to run a 3" exhaust but right now i currently dont have the cash to do so. I have the cash to buy a down pipe but don't want to buy the 3" in and 2.5" out because it would be a waste of money right? The 3" in and out would not fit now?

No.

If you are still on the stock catback you will need to get the 3" downpipe with 2.5" exit.

idk if you would know this but ill ask anyway. how much do you think muffler man would charge me to run 3" pipe from my downpipe and reduce it back down to 2.5" inch right at my muffler (so i dont have to buy a new muffler).

I only see one prob with this. The stock lsj catback necks down to 2.25" o.d. over the rear axle and into the muffler. You could just have them replace the 2.50" portion from the downpipe exit to right before the rear axle. I don't think it would be to expensive, but then you are left with a little 2.25" rear section. You are better off waiting and getting a full 3" catback.
