Dp help

okay so today i recieved my pacesetter header for my ss s/c
i am between cutting and welding my zzp dp to fit it or buying the dp that exhaust depot makes.
http://www.exhaustdepot.net/doforpahe.html

anyone have any insight? i love the way the car sounds now, but i am unsure of how it will sound with 2 resonators and no cat.

it would probably be cheaper to buy the exhaust depot one that welding my zzp one because the zzp dp cost me about 250 shipped and it may cost like 100 bucks to get welded, or i can sell it for about 180 shipped and get an extra 40 bucks and but "exhaust depots. but once again i want it to sound good.
thanks

I had the exhaust depot one, now it's just laying around. Everything bolted on fine. The part that annoyed me was that whistling sound. So i took off the flexpipe and got a custom one made at a shop for $60. The whistling problem was cured, but when the pipes were cold, they leaked through the ball & flange. After warming up, it wold go away, and you would slightly hear it. I coldn't take it anymore!!! So just 2 weeks ago, I took off the header system (Pacesetter+Catless DP) and re installed the stock gm one (custom honed) with the factory downpipe. The car is now quieter and doesn't stink!!

The main and more important reason why i placed the factory sytem back on is because my daughter wants to ride in my car now, and the fumes could really get to you, so i don't want her exposed to the fumes. She got bored I guess of the Trailblazer (which I cloned to an SS) that I bought for my wife.

Man, how I Miss that top end power

Correct. At 1st it was Pacesetter, catless DP and GMPP sport catback. The car screamed and at idle and low rpms, it sounded more like a subaru. After I got tired of the loud sound, I re insalled the fatory exhaust and it sounded fine. Now that it was quieter, I was able to notice the whistling and then the leaking sound.

its sounds more reasonable according to exhaust depot. BTW, have you noticed that one of the ZZP mid lenght header is actually a pacesetter with their downpipe? All they was cut the pacesetter at the flange and bolted on another downpipe. that explains why it's only 2 bolts!! LOL

Here is the pacesetter:

What do you think?
