Drag Bags

I've read some stuff about these already and I have tried to search info on these too but there isnt much out there about them. Im more interested in reviews and feed back from people who have these but any info would be great. So basically do they help and are they worth buying?

very worth it!

I havent used them personally but I know two guys that are track vets that have used them on both a cobalt and a redline. They say it dropped about .1 - .2 off their average 60'. Highly worth it. I will be getting them too this year for the track.

they're inflatable bags that you basically stuff in your rear springs. You inflate them at the track and it raises your rear end up. When inflated they prevent your backend from dropping when you accelerate off the line. This keeps the weight of the car on the front wheels and increase traction alot.

they are for use on the track. I mean you could pump them up for street driving if you wanted, but you'd look rediculous.

yes, you leave them in at all times. you just inflate them to minimum PSI (5 for this application)

It is still possible to find bags even if you are lowered. Measure the vertical length of the spring at ride height and the width. just call 1-800-248-0892, extension 2, and they can tell you what kit you need.

PM me if you need more specifics, i used to work for Air Lift.

again, its a "custom fit" application. get the dimensions i mentioned earlier and they can give you a part number in 5 seconds.

Alright will do. Thank you

I just thought maybe someone had already done this. I'll post what kit I get come spring when the car comes out again. I got one last summer but it didn't fit.

jest make sure you take the measurement with the vehicle at ride height. some cars sit lower than others so thats why you can't go based on the spring alone. if you have done weight reduction or have a heavy system or anything that can affect it, too.

From what points do you measure from? The very top to the very bottom of the spring?

you have to buy from a dealer, not from air lift. try ordering from truckspring.com, they have good prices, or JC whitney, automotive accessories.com, etc.

How many people have actually used mini footballs and it shown success? I am very interested in this. And is it just regular footballs or JR footballs?
