Dumb Question
ok, so i know my question is really stupid, and looking at my post count will inform you im new ... but i was wondering since long enough : since a lot of peeps seem to be willing to go all out turbo, this should make avaliable many many superchargers in good condition ... i do know it is possible to twin turbo a car so would it be possible to twin s/c a car ??? i don't wanna know if its stupid , worthless, or rice ... all i want to hear is could it possibly be done or it would be totally impossible in any way ! i know fitment could be an issue but ill relocate anything if need be. it would probably cost several grands but i got quite a few to waste to be the only twin sc cobalt around ( and maybie frist ever )!

I don't think it would be possible to put two roots tpe blowers into the engine bay but, I thin it would be possible to put a centrifugal supercharger in there.
but in all honesty, i'd say build the engine and throw a twin screw or turbo for best bang for the buck.

Hmm, 2 superchargers would put a lot of strain on the engine, it would hurt fuel economy and when they would be boosting, the air they push would be really hot, so you'd need a much bigger intercooler as well. It doesn't seem to be worth it.

You would somehow have to create two intake manifolds to operate the engine. Wouldnt work. Plus the power draw from the superchargers would gain you a lot less horespower than you think you would gain.
Didnt read if anyone mentioned this but you can twincharge a car, have a supercharger and turbocharger. Kind of best of both worlds type deal. Rarely done though.
