Dumb question Stage Install

So I'm thinking about buying a Intense Stage 3 kit! I live about 5 mins away from their shop but I would rather install it at my shop and not have to pay them $175 to do it. So my question is to get the stock pulley off the charger can I rent a tool from like Auto Zone or will I need to purchase their pulley puller? Flame Suit on

You can rent a pulley puller from autozones around my area..so im sure you can by your area too...i think it costs about 10-12 bucks to rent for the day.

We did my s2 install yesterday and we have a pulley puller and it was still a bitch to get off. We ended up using an impact on it (the puller) and it sloooooowly came off. If you have the tools I dont see why you wouldnt be able to get the pulley off though, it will just take some time. Also, putting on the new hub for the pulley is kinda hard also, it took some time byt we got it done. Good luck! Let me know if there is anything else I can help answer.

I dont know.... if it were me, I think it would be good to have them install and then custom tune your car.

But, again, thats just me.

Eh. Save the money, especially if you have HPT, and do it yourself.

Whatever you do, get it CUSTOM tuned. I've seen and heard of many Intense blown motors.
