eBay intake isn't worth anything.
I went back to stock as well.

As stated above, you need cooling mods. All stock with a air box tweak I hit around 240. I'm due for cooling mods also.

Im say this even tho they are some that will dispute me but, a stock LSJ even with an airbox mod dont put down 240hp, if ur lucky u may see like 220 with a factory freak these people claiming 230+ with a stock lsj are simply dynoing on a miscalculated dyno.

im not saying your right or wrong but this was me when i was almost stock.
same dyno jonathon923 put down 350whp on the hahn kit i have on now on 19psi and MTE put down 370whp on the treadstone kit.
this was my highest of the day, even though i saw anywhere from 222-232whp.

theres more factors into sc cars rather than turbos....heatsoak IMO is the biggest 1...jus do a heat exchanger and sum meth or e85 blend or sumtin and check ur IC pump and replace if needed..try out different things see wut it is makes the car feel right to u

the key word ALMOST stock, u simply could have had one of the 220+ factory freaks and a simple bolt on pushed u over 230.

whatever it was, i really dont mind. i wasnt going in there with too high expectations. everyone was pretty impressed. i say anywhere from 205-220whp stock would be a decent average for a well functioning car, but the OP dyno'd 56whp less than me and he said he has an ebay intake and megan exhaust. something has to be wrong, or the dyno sucks.

yeah from the dynos Iv seen 200 to 220 fully stock is about where most fall, The ebay intake I know is hurting his hp but it can also be heatsoak.

yea ebay intake and heat soak def. hurting him but dam.. maybe even the exhaust is hurting him.. i heard you dont need to upgrade the lsj exhaust untill atleast 2.9 or 2.8 pulley.

the exhaust shouldn't hurt him, but the headers and downpipe should have been replaced first.

i thought the smaller stock exhaust giving him more back pressure would help him more? matter of fact, what size is his now? i imagine 2.5" right?

Yeah they is a few lsj guys that can explain this wayyyyy better then most of us in this forum but thats the reason people dont put full 3" exhaust on sc lsj even most the TVS guys still run 2.5

Yeah, hence why you're running a 3" exhaust instead of a 2.5" like the SC guys, not counting a 3" collector/top of dp.
