Let that bitch run for a while with the tuning and see if anything comes up (hope not) than throw on some DR's, put on ur Driver Mod Stage III and throw down some low 12's

You forgot the step in between putting on DRs and running 12s.

Replace the shredded axels.

yeah, im sure u guys will .... just spend the extra money on the tune, make sure it someone good, and let him work his magic, my guy is a god with hp tuners, and with all the timing advances, i still see no knock even with the kit off, just insane tuning, but the kit was totally worth it. Im running 70% methanol and 30 water, i would suggest it, the engine loves the mixture for sure. i cant wait for my long tube head to come in, with that, and another 2-3 degrees of timing, i dont think 315 whp is out of the question at all

p.s. tuning on 94, james didnt really get more timing advancements then me on 91, but its all up to u, if u use a good 91 or 92 i would suggest it over the 94 for convience.
Yes i am running 94 octane but one thing matt forgot to point out is how different the tune was between our cars. Matts car ran at 20 degrees of timing because he could get the maximum amount of meth in his car. My car only ran at 18 degrees of timing because we maxed out my jet on the meth kit. With the 94 and the meth kit up higher it should have laid down much nicer numbers.

All in all i am somewhat pleased, but i will be going back for more tuning once my 3.5" intake is done (LT1 maf as well), and my throttle body shows up. Also i will be bringing the larger jet for my meth kit to try and give it the amount the car wants. I know the car is capable of over 300 the way it is now, i mean both cars were beat on continuosly before the numbers were laid down. I bet with the new tune it will push 315 or hopefully more.

Also as for the tune, the guys exact words on the redline and cobalt computer was "they may be related, but one far sides of the family". Jusst thought some would want to know that.

What settings did you use on the maf-t? What size did you use for the jet?

well we didnt get a 275 set, so maybe me and james should look into that, but i dont understand how ur running it safely and accurately without a way to tune it into ur car. Plus like i said before, we both feel we can add more timing, im guessing my car can now handle another 4 degrees of timing, and even more with larger jet, were only running the 175 jet.

we have to wait a few weeks before we can get back in, which im ok with seeing how it will give the car some time to learn it all out and get used to everything. when we go back well have more timing added, and lay down some sick numbers with the mods yet to arrive, and less stress on the car. My 294 was my 26th!!!! pull in 3 1/2 hours, so it was way hot, i believe james was his 15-20th, and his car was running so hot his 3 inch was bright red .

im also guessing u have the meth coming on later, which would lower ur mid range numbers, i think we used ur set up to start and then added as much methanol from it as possible, were running 2.9 and 4.8 on the maft, much lower then the cobalt install guides 4.8 and 6.0

Its quite nice, right between 6500 and 7000 she hit that power. The guy who tuned our car was awsome.

yeah he has the 275 jet james, we are running thr 175 jet, big difference, im wondering if we should go larger...maybe the s/c will really cool down, although i have i seem to have some natural cooling issues with my car, where urs seems to have a nicer cooling map.

My s/c certainly isnt ice cold after each pull, i wonder why not?

p.s. 242 stock is really high, wow, i ve NEVER seen such numbers, like in theory the stock injectors shouldnt handle that, and yeah, what are u running for a mixture?

right now im mixing straight methanol 7 parts to 3 parts distilled water. also bad, when do u have ur methanol coming in at?
