dyno tune or hp tune

there is a local dyno shop that i contacted and i was wondering if getting it dyno tunded by perf. was better then me trying to fittle fart around with it trying different things and seeing how they work. it seems a little more safe to go get it done once and not try something and see if it works and then try something else doing it myself... thanks

If you already have HP Tuners, getting it dyno tuned first as a base map and then fine tuning it yourself over time would most likely be your best bet. But you do need something to monitor your A/F ratios and such.

150 for dyno tunning... and i willl have to get a a/f gauge... i just didnt want to mess anything up with the hp tuner(i dont have one yet) the dyno tune would be done by a guy who has done probally thousands of them.

Well you could use HP tuner to save a copy of how he tuned your car. That way, if your car ever gets reflashed by the dealership or such you can restore it. Or actually go through the changes one by one and see what you want to keep.
