I never wrote them off from the start, I just wasn't sure if they were ever going to adapt well to mods. With the knowledge you just gave, I do think the ss/tc will give a lot of stage 2 cobalts a run for there money lol. However in July when I am tuned, should be laying down numbers around that area. However I am sure my torque will be less, as I don't have a turbo....yet lol.

Sure it will adapt well to mods just like any other car. Now how deep can you go into the mods is yet to be discovered.

Now after saying that, I feel that with simple bolt ons Ie:Intake, Downpipe, Racepipe (or whatever its called) Catback. That will put them at around 270 WHP. STOCK TUNE. STOCK BOOST. You get someone to tune it and up the boost a little bit, There is no way it will stay UNDER 300 WHP. The car is a beast, for the price.

But it then all comes down to how hardcore you are. 300 WHP through the front wheels is honestly not something i want to be racing with. All your money after that will be going into suspension work and other misc stuff just so the car will be able to run at the track and put up good et's.

Then what happens when you wanna put a bigger turbo and push 400 WHP. Cannot do that through the front 2 wheels very efficiently.

The only problem with the new Cobalt Turbo is that its FWD.

No tuning, just raised rev limit to 7k. Nothing else was changed.. although if you would like to call that tuning go ahead. The engine keeps making power past 6500, even with stock injectors and pulley (the dyno graph is a perfect explanation of this.. for the people who don't know what I am talking about). I bet if I took it to 7000 it would be at the same HP as frank's stage 2 (227whp).

Only gear I will take it to 7k is in 1st and 2nd (drag strip). On the highway/street doing long pulls for example, going past 6500 is a

check my write up in my sig on cooling mods, I tested the rpm bump out myself, and yes, it is considered tuning, cause you changed your stock tune. I actually gained 2mph from it.

Wow, what fantastic detective work R/G! You had to go all the way down to my OVERSIZED SIG to catch that bit of info.

You must be a private eye or something ...

What about the 70+ WTQ that the turbo car is making over your little blower.
What about you not being able to correctly read a thread/dyno chart? My Stage 2 made 203tq, the SS/T 258tq. How does that = 70+ torque?

Let me guess ... flunked Math 101?

"Horsepower Sells cars torque wins races"
^Winner of "The Most Illogical Statement Of The Year Award"

So if car #1 made 150hp/180tqw, and car #2 made 250hp/150 tq, then car #2 would lose?

Let me guess ... flunked Cognitive Thinking 101?

No wonder i took almost a year off this forum,
Well, it's been nice seeing you again. But it sounds too me like you're in need of another vacation.

Come Back Soon!

No one knows ****
^Your post has clearly proven that.

Face it buddy Cobalt TC STOCK> Modded SS/SC
In light of all the errors that I have found in your post, might I suggest you try the "Delete Your Thread" option?

Anymore questions?
Yeah, I've got one. Are you completely illiterate, or just partly illiterate?

I'm not on here to sugar coat **** and make me look like a nice guy.
We just wish you weren't here at all ...

I am on here to talk cars.
^TRANSLATION: "I'm here to babble about crap that I obviously know nothing about".

If you cant take the truth then get a new car or start modding.
One has to first know the Truth before they can start discussing it. Care to try again?
