E available in my area! convert time?

Moved to the new condo, went to the local shell, pulled in and damn near ruined my undies. They sell E85! boinoinoinoinoinoinoinggggg.

3.39$ a gallon here.

My only issue is this is the only station in the area that I know of that sells it. next time I go im going to ask him if theres any others in the area. I might wait until it becomes more available but this for SURE is a good sign.

What is all needed to convert? Return style fuel system or just a Walbro 255?

Im on 60s, 80s better?

Anything else?

07 LSJ for reference.

F u !!!!!

Our fuel pump is fine in the 07's man.

I don't think you need to mess with the fuel system (return style fuel system) until you really push it.

80's are best to use, but you can get away with 60's if you run a 2.9" pulley.

The water meth will help. I tuned someone on a 2.8 with 60's and the injectors were close to static. I would change to 80's though.

I heard that 80's were neccessary, but ive seen a bunch of people do it with 60's. I would assume their IDC would be maxxed or close when using anything smaller than a 2.8.

Just use one of the sites that list all the stations with E across the country. Last I checked there were only 4 in mass, and one of those is logan.

$3.39 a gallon... Wow...

Gas (87) here is $3.05 and E-85 is only $2.69 (cheaper than gas)

Are we the only place E85 is cheaper than gasoline?

CT has a rediculous Gas TAx.

I just paid 3.35 for 93 this afternoon on my way to work.

Just get 80's and call it a day. And yes I vote you convert right meow!

For comparison, our 87 is $3.35 here and E85 is $2.75. 91 is like $3.55 or $3.65.

I wish E was still cheap here. It's only 10 cents less than 87. 87's 3.33 right now and E is right around 3.23

85 just hit 2.96 a gallon here. I found 91 for 3.22. E usually is 2.50ish but it may be less now.

3.09 here and 87 is 3.15, at chevron. It used to be a spread of about 30-40 cents all the time, but prices have gone up in the last year.

Switch to E85.

I did some injector testing earlier this summer.

95% IDC at 7000rpms with a 2.9" on 60s. If you want to go with a smaller pulley(which you should), I would suggest 80s.

100% E85, 2.6" M62, 3" CAI and exhaust yielded 290 HP to the wheels with our **** air here in AZ.

You can even go a little leaner than shown above and be safe and itll drop you IDCs..
