e85
Depending on what pulley you run, you're going to need bigger injectors. Most common is running 80's with e85, but I've seen it done on 60's. I can't recall what pulley they were on though.
80# injectors, e85, tune
^ that is what is NEEDED, although some nice plugs, and a 2.7 pulley would almost be perfect.
I think those were on a 2.9" the guy in AZ right?

I'm going with E85 this week. I'm going to run 80s and the 2.8 thats on the car. I was going to run a 2.7, but I ordered the wrong damn pulley, so screw it. You don't need a whole lot of cooling mods with E85.
One thing that should be mentioned is that E85 does not lower your iat2's. People are making statements such as "you do not need cooling mods" when in fact that is not the case. Yes e85 burns cooler and yes cyl temps will be cooler, but this has nothing to do with iat2's which lead to power increases and decreases. The way our cars are setup, as some of you know, they pull timing if the car is above X iat2 degree. No matter what type of fuel you are using you are not lowering the iat2's and that is something that still needs to be done with these cars. The less timing you are running, the less power you are making. Even if your tune is setup to run 20 degrees, that doesn't mean it won't pull 5 degrees once you make your 2nd pull and your iat2's are above 140-150 degrees.
E85 is great and I am for it, however you still need to watch your iat2's and cool the intake charge down.

Correct it does not cool IATs, but it does cool down cyl temps dramatically as you stated. I have my tune setup to not start pulling timing until 160* IAT2s since you can get away with a little more heat on E85 due to the cyl temps being so much cooler.
