I will say this however. Ever since I moved into the city more I have been getting more in the 17-18 mpg range, as I am very close to work and my shop, so my drives are typically pretty short.

Mix of highway/city= 17.1 DIC said 26.6
All highway, raining, so no cruise so speed was varied = 22.5 DIC said 34.7
40 minutes on a racetrack, in the rain = 8.3 DIC said 18.6
