Eaton TVS2

Is there any word if there will be a TVS2 design to fit the 2.0 Cobalt?

Seems like it's more for even smaller engines than a 2.0?

With a little work, there are some really efficient SC's that could be adapted to the Ecotec with better heatexchangers. Most would require some serous hood work

A 1900 is so hard to fit in a standard... I doubt a 4T65 would make things any better.

I have yet to see anyone be successful with a 1900 setup. I've seen some work but far from ideal. Has anyone ever really came close to perfecting it or making it a worthwhile upgrade over the 1320?

I could run a 1900 on my car right now and just never go into boost but I wouldn't call that a success. To be considered a success IMO it would have to have a significant power increase over the 1320 with healthy IAT2 temps so I could actually use it.

Don't know... Might have pics or Video when it was at ZZP. I don't see him often. Bought a lot of his spares.

Why would you do that, just have zzp remote tune it for the altitude it's driven in...

I believe they did a lot of the work so it wasn't there just for tuning. Honestly, you would need to ask the owner.

System Performance

The combination of the TVS2 technologies has resulted in a significantly
improved thermal efficiency map. The TVS2, Figure 36, thermal efficiency
in both the steady state and transient operating regions has increased
significantly compared to the TVS R410 supercharger, Figure 37, where
peak thermal efficiency is achieved in the core of the steady state operating
region. The maximum transient operating speed of the TVS2 unit,
highlighted in Figure 37, has been increased from 24,000 rpm to 30,000
rpm allowing the supercharger to remain engaged to higher engine
speeds. For example, a 6:1 drive ratio between the supercharger and engine
would enable the supercharger to remain engaged up to 4,000 engine
rpm with a 24,000 supercharger rpm limit or up to 5,000 engine rpm
with a 30,000 supercharger rpm limit.
