engine hungry?

Well short and straight to the point sunday check oil had to add a quart to get it in the middle of the dipstick last oil change was not that long ago the oil is still over 70 percent. Is my car at 20,000 miles doing this naturally or should i be concerned and run some tests or take it to the dealer? Thanks in advance.

Did you check the oil when you left the dealership? I have found that a lot of tech's don't know the difference between the SS/SC and a standard cobalt so they will put the same amount of oil in for both even though the SS/SC requires substantially more. Check your invoice and make sure they billed you for the correct amount of oil, our cars take 6.5 L so they should have charged you for 7.

But time will tell doubt anything is seriously wrong i would have known it thanks for the help ill update when i figure out what is wrong or what i did exactly.
