Might have to put it on and take it to the dealer....
Did you take your TB off completely and clean it with paper towels? If there was anything on it?

I just got something today in the mail from Chevy about a problem with the cat converter, and it'll pop on the power reduced light. I doubt it's your problem, but just throwing it out there

only happens to me when my aem intake gets soaked. happened last week actually. we got over 2 inches of rain and it got wet along the way some where and when i went to give it 3/4 throttle it hesitated and did that. i was 1/4 from work. drove it into the garage and kept doing key cycles on it and 2 minutes later she was fixed

2006 cobalt ss/sc stock. Well Mine is having the same problems right now. So i sent it to the dealer to see what they could find out they told me it was not the CAT, They said it was the computer(PCM) so they replaced it just warrenty. I got it back drove it for a day and this morning when i went to leave i got half way down the street and i got the same dam messege on the screen. The car does not die and i can still drive it. but has no power what so ever. So for the second tim eshe got towed to my local deal so they can take another look at it and find out wtf is causing the problem. (Thank god this ain't coasting me ****) but i will let you guys know what they find out and if it really fixes the issue this time.

Ok well i got the car back yesterday and all they did was clean the throttle body because that is all that could find wrong. It drove great allday yesterday and yesterday night. But again this morning when i went to leave to do something same thing all over again same msg and same loss of power. So again it is getting towwed to the dealer to see what they can figure out. Even thou the last time that could not figure anything out that was wrong. i just feel this is a lost cause. Anyone have any input on this

do you have any leaks or cracks on the intake or intake manifold? trust me i know how u feel i get this same issue everyday and its the biggest paying in the ass. i currently have my intake manifold with a crack from one side to the other and it sucks in air through there so the car doesnt read the right amount of air goin in the engine therefore causing this issue. check for leaks or any weird sounds. thank god i already bought the manifold from someone in here and am just waiting to get it so i can get rid of this issue. also check o2 sensors and MAF sensor.
