car lost traction today and went into Engine Power Reduced. I got it home then disconnected the battery. reconnected it now everything is good? should i worry about anything or the cel coming back on?

 

Just make sure you have nothing loose. My car did this when my intake bolts came off my S/C'er. Would turn on, idle fine for a second, then "Engine Power Reduced" would display on the DIC.

 

My car keeps going into "limp mode also just replaced the throttle body didnt help at all...hopefully i will find answers in this thread

 

my tb was dirty and was cleaned before. along with the maf have you tried cleaning that too?

 

What code did you get. Most likely a sensor going bad. P0183 knocked my car into limp mode every 5 minutes.

 

Tps code i dont remember the numbers...im at work all night but ill get to a scanner tomorrow its becoming a situation now if i put to much pressure on the pedal it goes into limp...what was the cause of yours i just put a brand new tb on and it still does it

 

i dont remember the numbers either. but awhile pack i did a hard pull onto the freeway and it went into limp mode and it was cause the tb and maf were dirty. but today a guy cut me off on the free way and i had to break and swerve and i spun out and then it went into engine power reduced

 

Ya my tb is brand new and my maf i cleaned right b4 snow hit....i got a code about a map sensor but idk if thats actually what it is..when i push my clutch in the car revs the shiy out of it all on it own then trys to stall when im at a complete stop....plz folks help
