Take it to the dealer.

I tried for a couple weeks to fix it myself, no solution. Ill get a call in the morning when they let me know whats up with my car.

Post more info on the car, and what happened when it did it.

I was in 2nd got on it into 3rd and then 4th and it did it to me. S/C won't kick in at all...I barely made it up hills to town.
If you've got warranty and all that, get it towed to a dealer and get it fixed.

Dealer called, said my intake was loose and all the connections on it were loose. Make sure your MAF is sitting in there correctly and everything else is tightened down.

it usually has to do with the MAF sensor, when i didn't have the MAF tuned in right and the VE tables set and then added in the MAF to adjust it dropped into limp mode. If you haven't modified it in any way i would take it to the dealer definitely, but unplugging your battery will probably reset it temoporarily.

Limp is usually realted to throttle position, accel pedel postion, maf/map/scip sensors.

have you had your oil changed recently? I just had mine done and was driving for a bit and the same thing happened to me and the car ran like ****. I pulled over and checked the plugs under the hood by the tb and sure enough I found one that was hanging there. I plugged it back in and no more problem.

I couldn't understand what the dealer said when I was on the phone with him, but something along the lines of Bio sensor...I suppose he meant BARO sensor?

I took mine to the dealer and it turned out to be a bad PCM. I had gotten an error earlier and took it to advanced auto and the code that they got was a bad crank position sensor. Hope to get my car back today. They also found a bad wheel bearing.

99.99999% of limp mode is the crank position sensor. The rest are just ways to get the computer to fix itself. usually shutting it off and then cranking it back up allows it to reset for a bit. But if it is bad, it will come back after a time.

Other limp mode with maf sensor i dont see, unless you caused an excessive lean/rich condition for so long.

I talked to the Chevy dealer today and they said they replaced the PCM and the new code that they got was to replace the PCM. lol That sucks they said they called GM and they said, "Oh change the throttle body." That should be here tomorrow. If that does not work they will continue to follow what GM has to say.
