Anyways, I did the same with an EVO VIII that had an exhaust from about 65 to 110, its fun and ever more fun with the stage 2 now!

sounds about right, with a raised rev limit you could have walked away slowly. probably put about 2 cars on him. good runs man.

AWD cars arent the easiest thing to launch and some ppl who have them have a hard time with it. thats one thing some ppl dont understand that never drove one, not saying that anyone on here doesnt know or hasnt driven one, just in general, but some times ppl launch and just bog out the motor which a good FWD/RWD driver could beat someone on a holeshot if that person doesnt know what to do

 

Completely agree. I raced in my buddies WRX at AutoX one time, and even him driving the car for 4 months, i launched it just as well as him. The engine bogs unless you get it perfect and slowly let out the clutch. I also beat him by 1 full second never driving it a day before that.
