Completely agree. I raced in my buddies WRX at AutoX one time, and even him driving the car for 4 months, i launched it just as well as him. The engine bogs unless you get it perfect and slowly let out the clutch. I also beat him by 1 full second never driving it a day before that.
right on bro, thats why ur driver mod is high lol but i launched my friends talon better than he did... that is until his stock clutch **** when he tried racing a 12second crx. sucked cuz i hate hondas and he woulda destryoed it. but yes they are hard. i didnt do good at all but i did do better than him cuz i beat a few cars he couldnt hang with from a dig
my one friend who has a slighly modded evo tries that and variations at the track and the motor boggs down a good bit b4 rippin thru the gears. read what sway had to say bout my post too

you seriously need to learn how to launch an awd car.
i pulled sub 1.6 60's in my gsx everytime i was at the track with it.
if someone sucks at launching an awd car, they need to invest in a two step. or come see me.
