How hot does our exaust pipes get tempurature wise?

Before cat, lawl.

where my header and DP connect, theres a leak. Its been fixed 5 times and keeps coming back. The dood I talked to yesterday told me to buy some Sealant, and put my torque brace back on. He said the engine is so torquey that its pulling and causing the leak over and over again.

He wanted the sealant as he said if he puts it in the hole where the 2 pipes meet, and then puts it back together, then tightens the bolts and welds them that it shouldnt come back any more. I didnt realize the sealant I needed needs to be over 600+ degrees though. SO I guess before I go in for my appointment tomorrow I will exchange the one I bought for a higher temp one.
