Exedy Hyper Single is good for ???

Just getting close to finishin putting my car back together and still have my exedy hyper single lying around was wondering what kind of power they are rated for??? Would it survive a TVS set-up or better yet a possible twin charge??

off ottp website "All Hyper Clutches come with a steel flywheel and a 6-puck disc with cerametallic facing, and a spring center damper. The disc is generally smaller and thinner than the OEM disc making for lower inertia and therefore quicker, easier shifting. The higher clamp load and cerametallic friction facings give approximately twice the holding torque of the OEM clutch and generally higher than other single plate clutches"

Yarp. Should easily be able to handle the 400-500 a high end turbo/twincharge setup will throw at it.

It's the strongest clutch available for our cars, as far as I know.

I've been running the exedy in my TVS for 6 months now. No problems here, it's a great clutch.

unless you do some ***** out engine work, I doubt you'll ever see more than 350 ft lbs of torque on a tvs. As for a turbo or twincharge, there's a lot of variables for power/torque rating. But exedy is one of the better clutches out there.
