Would it be pointless to run 3 inch all the way???

Not for those that are seeking big power.

I will go 3 inch all the way, and leave the back pressure arguements to the smaller exhaust slower people.

3" will work out better when you're at or over 300whp. Any less than that, you will loose bottom end power.

its probably actually 300 crank power, i think i remember reading that in a Dynomax catalog
