exhaust gaskets?

exhaust gaskets?

put my car up on the lift and im going to deffinitly need to get atleast 1 new one, but im replacing my heaader, d/p and catback all together. should i just get all new gaskets?? and if so can i get them from GM?

anyone?? need to know soon

New parts should include the gaskets. Usually not the header gasket which doesn't need to be replaced when you swap...usually.

got mine from the chevy cearler for $14 and some change. I would replace all the gaskets if it were me.

well i bought a new one today for 9$ from GM for the one that connects the exhaust to resonator. hopefully everything else will work good

the manifold gasket should be fine. i've installed tons of headers, and always look at the gasket, and never once had to replace it. the other gaskets will probably have to be changed, depending on how long they've been on, and if everything was tight the whole time. if they came a little loose all that hot air gets in there and messes them up.

but your header/downpipe should come with gaskets to go in between the 2 especially if you get a combo piece.

i got the cia header combo. i guess it all hooks up a lil different from other headers. its got the bowl shaped thing.
