Exhaust HELP!!!

I'm gonna cut out the stock resonator and put a piece of 3" straight pipe with a super 44 flowmaster muffler at the end. Will it still let cold air back up and damage my valves.

Not gonna hurt a thing, But I thinking it will sound getto. You'd be better off leaving the stock resonator and deleate the muffler with a straight pipe and the stock tip on it.

Keep the resonator. Dont delete anything out of your exhaust just replace with less restrictive. You will like the sound way better.

That is going to sound so terrible. It is a mistake to remove the resonator.

Just to see how it sounded I took the muffler off.. Holy god it was loud, I could barely think... I would suggest keeping the muffler too, just get a less restrictive one.

Yah I have heard terrible flowmasters on cobalts. I would look into another exhaust. I mean it doesnt have to be expensive to sound good. I have a pacesetter and I thinks its better than most of them out there. But search for exhaust clips and see what you like.
