Lightbulb exhaust help

Im not very familiar yet with exhaust systems so Im turning to you guys!

Lets say for now money isn't a huge issue, but Im not looking to race the car, just looking to maximize the performance. Alot of people go with cat-back systems which seem easy enough to install and provide decent results. I also have read a little about some guys taking the cat right out and putting in from the engine back. Which way would you guys recommend??? Is there problems with the computer if you take out the cat? Would I need to tune? New downpipes? Warranty?? Or is it way more money then it's worth if I'm not gonna be racing at the track ?? Any help would be appreciated. I couldnt really find the answers I was looking for in the forums, so I thought I'd just post all my questions here for now!

Thanks Guys!

I have the Corsa Touring Exhaust system, very good exhaust i love it, nice tone to it as well. Personally i would like to see how it would be without a cat, but personally i would keep it, you dont want CEL's and ****, which can be fixed if you do decide to go catless. No tune nessesary for just and exhaust, no new dp you could keep the stock one, warranty is still intact with the corsa, not sure about other exhaust, sure its the same. Hope thats helps a little.

if you're going basic, not going all out, KEEP the cat... the 1, maybe, if you're super lucky 1 1/2 hp you'll gain from it is not worth the super loud rasp, plus you'll fail emissions...

exhaust components will not void your warrenty... header, downpipe w/high flo cat, catback, and a cai will really wake the car up
