FAIL. There are baffles in the muffler, not fur. And if you do that, it's STILL going to be loud. /thread

they sell inserts that you can stick in the tailpipe for when you want to be quiet... when you don't want to be quiet, you can take it out.

say "**** tha police"

but really, look up the law, find what bullshit law they're ticketing you for, then find a place that can do decibel testing. cause i'm assuming that's what they're going by. sound. get your exhaust tested for sound. if it passes lower than your state get a printout or something showing your exhaust violates no sound ordinances.

Dude thats the 1st time I saw whats in a muffler, crazy ****.

Get an electric cutout and tell the police officer to kindly suck a fat dick. Your **** WILL be stock but when you wanna race you flip that switch and open her up like a cheap hooker

I'm in VA and never had exhaust trouble. Even on a GT with full exhaust (catless) dumped.

IMO that will be raspy as ****. like the time i tried putting a flowmaster 40 series on my 2.2 eco J-body. baffled muffler with no fiberglass packing = buzz

Heres my latest idea for a custom set up.
Right now I have a c-a v2 header, 3" zzp downpipe with hi flow cat, and a stock catback. it sounds like raspy ass. So I was thinking:
1. replace stock 2" resonator with glasspack tube.
2. replace 2.25" over-axel pipe with CTI 2.5" replacement.
3. cut off 2.25" muffler inlet and attach 2.5" CTI pipe. (rumor has it that the stock muffler is really 2.5" with a reducer inlet that can be cut off)
Therefore, full 2.5" catback with stock muffler. hopefully quiet and deep.

PS. it looks like you pulled a dead animal out of your muffler
