exhaust question

hey guys, I'm buying a CA 2.5" catless downpipe from someone on here. my questions are:

a) can I (and also what kind of) bolt on a cat converter at the end of the dp?
b)what length header should I use? (mid, long, shorty)

I need to know what will work so it will fit as I am a total newb when it comes to this stuff.

thanks guys!

Well mangaflow has a high flow cat converter that is also on the ZZP downpipe, it works really well and will not throw your CEL and also will allow you to pass smog with no problem.

The header will all depend on which exhaust you are looking to buy, most of the cat back's will bolt up to the STOCK dp and header, usually the shorty header is closest to stock and will allow you to bolt on to the stock dp, and then to the cat back exhaust.

but to be honest you can usualy take your exhaust to any muffler shop and they could add on any piping, after the dp and headers!

a) If you're buying a catless downpipe, why would you put a cat on it?

b) It's the same length as the stock downpipe. It should bolt up to your existing header and exhaust.

If you are just buying this part alone, it probably wont do much...maybe try -Search - Advanced - Search Titles Only - Downpipe
