i was thinking about going with the gmpp touring exhaust because its quieter,but i ike the sound of the performance gmpp better.my question is will the performance exhaust drown out the whine of the sc?.

 

only if you go with a 3 inch like vibrant, with GMPP, u will still hear it

 

no, but it's a little small. i would recommend a 2.5" exhaust, not a 2 1/4". people will talk about the "magical" 12 hp gain, that happened once, 2 years ago, on an otherwise stock car. don't buy it.

if you want to def. get a gm, that's fine, it's your call. but i would say it's too small for your setup.

 

id go with the dcsports 2.5 good sounding, doesnt drown the sc sound either

 

you could always get an intermediate one.. vibrant may have a 2.375 exhaust like they offer for the cavalier. Love it sounds good, not raspy! I'm about to switch over to all 2.25 intermediate piping and catalytic converter as well!

 

how does it sound?,what other exhaust would you compare it to sound wise?.

 

doesnt really sound like any other exhaust that i know of, but it has a really nice deep tone, with no rasp.
