Exhaust question???

so im looking for a cat back but dont wana spend alot i noticed i can buy a catback for a 2.2 ls for way less than a ss/sc but it says the the 2.2 catback doesnt fit the ss/sc models is this true or will it work any help would be appriciated

thanks i think i will be ordering the mandrel exhaust.
