any muffler will fit, as long as you know what you're doing

like ^ said. you can make just about anything fit if you know someone who can weld....

just so you know, youll get a far nicer sound, as well as realworld performance from a full catback instead of just the muffler changeout....

If you like the sound from those then all the power to ya....but you will get that raspy "fartcan" sound...

In all do respect, i wouldnt go with a fake me out "jdm" STYLE muffler like that, maybe a more mellow muffler like a magnaflow, but what ever floats your boat, put your flamesuit on.

I'd wait until you can afford it. Why do something half-ass now and have to re-do it later...??

IMO those type of mufflers look and sound like ass. i'd stick to a normal chambered muffler.

Well the GMPP is 2.25 inch and magnaflow 2.5. Magnaflow always shows about 7-10HP gains. Where the GMPP goes from 5-12HP gains. My guess is that magnaflow should give you a few more HP than the GMPP! I know aguy that sells awesome pulleys real good price to!!

The GM parts comme with everything and full instructions.... You have to buy a tip seperate that they sell as well. Have a nice looking bowtie on it to!! I would go straight cut over angles aswell, but thats preferance!

It depends what you are looking for, if you want GM warranty with 0 hassel, excellent quality and at a bargain price then yes. If you want maximum HP, there are better systems out there. But the diffirence will be marginal (1-4HP).... But it depends really on how many modds you want to put on. If u want to go all out, then no to GMPP. But if you want just bolt-ons, the GMPP is good enough (but again with a few less HP)

K someone was telling me to just put a performance muffler on my car because i already have 2.5" piping on my stock exhaust. what would be the power diff if i bought a performance muffler and welded it on and got a CAI in versus of getting a Full Megan Racing Cat-Back Exhaust system? I was thinking i would be better going with the Muffler and CAI. I just dont want the exhaust to sound like ****. But what do you guys think is the truely better choice. Ill eventualy get Full Cat-back in the future.

Yeah u have stock 2.5, but the bends go as small as 2 inch on it. So really its almost like running a 2inch exhaust right now!! so no a muffler would do the trick. I say get the CAI, and when you have the $$ then get a catback, dont do it half ass!! Thats my opinion!! One step at a time is perfect, nothing to be ashamed of, thats what i am doing to!! And once u get the catback get a manifold from GMPP

Well they all seem to throw cel (chek engine lights) once in a while. Fujita and AEM seem to be the worst though. I know there was fitment issues with the first GEN Injen, but thats what I have personally and it fits real good. AEM, is a dry filter, so less chances of messing up the MAF sensor, but if the filter gets wet, ure car is going to run like poo where with the injen and fujita that wont happend. The is also like weapon R and stuff, but I would stick with either the fujita, AEM, or the Injen
