Depending on what size you go with will dictate the price. Obviously 2.5 will be cheaper then 3inch and obviously the shorter 20inch will be less then the longer 27 inch.

The larger the muffler, the quieter the setup will be, I went with the 27inch 3 in/out and I am more then satisfied to it.

You guys want an OVAL muffler, not a round one and summit is the best choice!

Joemaster70 - Personally I would go to a shop and have them make you a 2.5inch or 3inch catback, it will only cost you 250-300 installed and will sound amazing paired up with a nice muffler like the dynomax super turbo. Just call around and try to find a shop that has a mandrel bender.

more packing inside the muffler to quite things down. Why do you think the fart cans sound like they do? Almost no packing...they are basically straight through in design.

not shore if dynamax has ss version for the normal none ss wil rust up quick, even after new it started to pit a little. I recommend painting it hi temp black or sumtn first. just my 2cents but yea love being quiet but not choked out or raspy for im catless aswell.

You know, go to practically any v8 forum and they'll say the same thing about dynomax.

Its not the brand, but how it sounds on the car. I could give a **** less what "brand" it is, as long as it sounds good. We dont want loud...loud normally equals rasp for any NA or S/C 4cylinder car. V8 guys want loud.

I personally think magnaflow sounds like **** on the cobalt, but sounds great on a maxima...for example. Then again, depends on the model of the muffler, resonators, cats, etc etc etc.

The dynomax is a great muffler. I have it on my 2.4, it has a nice low tone and noooo rasp!

mine pops some but compared to my old tsudo exhaust its way less. Trust me man your gunna like it. The biggest thing is its very low key when you want it to be while cruising, but when you open it up on a long stretch of open road or hwy you know its there.
