Exhaust Vendor Help

Hey all, so ive decided that im going to upgrade my exhaust. After some research im going to go with the bad mab header, 2.5 catted zzp dp, and corsa cat-back. Im just wondering whats the best way to get these parts as i live in canada... preferred method would be all from one vendor but i dont think thats possible so anyone out there have some suggestions for good vendors for these parts??? Also anymore info on exhaust set-ups would be great.

Cobalt, Bad News Racing

use this site for your header and downpipe.

going to have to check out a different vendor for a corsa... possibly turbotechracing

I went into that website that you post up the link. I am wondering do they charge shipping ? Cause I did check out and etc. I don't see any charge for shipping.

im pretty happy tho i think i could have gotten a few more hp out of my tune with the long tube... based on how similar the badmab is in physical size to the stock manifold and also a couple of emails to zzp.... i dont honestly know how accurate that info is.

I heard long tubed headers sound awful so i just stayed away from them... how do you like the sound of yours?? much louder than stock?

Agreed, I would stick with Bad Mab Header with ZZP Catted Downpipe either 2.5 or 3inches bolt in depends on your mods. My advise get Copper Head to Header Gasket with Header to Downpipe Remflex. You may say Remflex 2.75 not 3 inches gasket but it don't matter just slap it in! Most Cobalt owner reuse stock header to downpipe gasket. You may ask what size stock gasket ? It's 2.75 same as Remflex. You won't get exhaust leak at all for a VERY long time. You won't have to worry about it and won't be disappointed. They are Dyno proven. I would go for that.

You do realize that you can get a quality custom made catback from a local exhaust shop rather than paying an inflated rate for a catback from a vendor.

You will be happy with it and won't be disappointed. Those Gaskets are not cheap! But they are worth it.

depending where you are an exhaust place that does mandrel bends can be very hard to find.... I ended up doing the cti axle back but i know theres another company that i have seen links to their website can send you all the exhaust components mandrel bent to have your local exhaust shop weld them together... cant remember the name of the company tho

take the car to a muffler shop or performance shop, and ask them to build you a cat back.

So some people are really loving the bad mab header and some are hating it so I'm unsure what to get now. I don't wanna get something that is just going to break or be a piece... So what do you guys suggest? Whiteout spending $500 for a header lol

It is a very high quality piece I just feel like a longer tube would be more beneficial.... granted that is not an informed opinion... just some **** ive seen on here made me believe that.... but yes the badmab header is VERY high quality piece
