A/F ratio gauge hook up

I just got my air/fuel gauge and i wanted to know where do i hook up the signal wire? I saw the how to... but it says purple wire, there are 3 purple wires... Pics would help to guys... The pics on the how to are from a 2.2...

I ran it to the purple wire to the sensor on the manifold.

Wait...you're running the a/f gauge to the stock sensor and not a wideband?

Not to knock you around but the readings are not going to be accurate. It will pretty much mean you're a/f gauge is for show.

Well if you want to install it...just go to the sensor you're tapping and find the wire don't tap in the pcm bundle that's just a pain in the ass. I mean...if there's more than one purple wire on the sensor then you could use a quick spice trial and error and see which one works but...yeah. I wouldn't suggest one of those light gauges; you want a wideband sensor and an a/f gauge that has a hard number display otherwise you're just pissing into the wind hoping there's no electric fence around.
