A few questions

Alright does any of you know or have the JBP Vortex header?
What about JBP's Exhaust or Downpipe?
If so is it worth buying? What is its benefits?

Alright JBP also has a ported supercharger.
What's the benefits and gains with that?
And what is a ported supercharger.

I'm a NOOB.

The JBP Vortex header probably will give you the most gains. But with a header of that magnitude you have to build up to match. Ex: full exhaust, stage kits, tune. If you dont have high HP numbers, then it probably wont help you.

The JBP exhaust systems are very good as well. But the products are very expensive.

A ported blower increases the flow = more efficient. That doesn't necessarily mean more psi.

With a ported s/c how much hp can I max out with w/o swapping the internals?

You'll probably never blow internals, with the correct setup. The only way you would is if the tune is crap (running lean).

Most supercharges for the ecotec will top out at +/-300 hp, probably more on the " - " side

Check out the "Officail Dyno Thread" you'll see what people are making and what they've done to get there...

Also, if you spend a little time using the Advanced Search, you can find a lot of info.
