Few questions...

Just installed my intercepter and got a few questions about some of the stuff im seeing ...

1. My only mods are GM stage 2 and lastnight my IAT2 went up to 160 from a 20-100 pull ... my I/C pump screwed?

2. What reading tells you at what percentage your injectors are at?

3. How accurate are the 0-60 and 1/4 mile times? I tryed it once and it said 14.1 at 107.. seems a little fast.

4. Should this read knock? A couple times I noticed it just wasn't showing any value for it at all.

1. As long as it comes back down fairly quickly afterward you should be fine. About a 40* difference between IAT1 and IAT2 when you're cruising is about average. I'm pretty much stock and I've seen 140*...

2. Dunno

3. Close but not perfect...

4. Knock shows at zero quite a bit for me as well. Zero knock is a good thing. I can tell when I get bad gas by watching this...

No I know 0 knock is good but sometimes it just won't show anything ... like it can't read it or something. Yeah if im just cruising and dont go WOT it will just stay around 100-110 but once it goes up to 160 it will come back down to about 130 and stay around there. IAT1 was prob around 70 lastnight. I just installed it lastnight tho so I didnt really get the chance to fool around with it.

Bump ...

your intercooler pump is out if your cruising temps are 130. Just simply hit it lightly a few times with a hammer. As far as the temps your iat2's while cruising should be roughly 20-30 degrees above ambient. So if its 80 outside, it should be 100-110 while cruising. 160 is a pretty high iat2 if it was only one pull, I would bet that your pump is out.

What was the temperature outside this morning? I live in Pennsylvania and I rarely see my IAT2's above 100 while I'm cruising unless it's a really hot day. I see 80* MAX in the morning while I'm cruising to work...

When my pump went out it hit 190* in one pull on a 2.9" (w/ m62)... lol.. if it's cooling back off that quick, it's probably flowing, but for safety sake, why not look?

BTW I watched my IAT's on my way home. It's 91* out this afternoon and cruising I was at 110* for my IAT2 and when I was sitting at a red light the highest I saw it touch was 131* but that was only for like a second...

I didn't do any hard pulls since I was in rush hour traffic so I can't tell you that

Still seems to be running high, once I do a pull and it goes up it seems to stay there. Checked the filler neck and theres definetely a flow so I dunno whats up. Looking at getting a dual pass and option b maybe.

Yeah I wouldn't mind getting them all eventually ... today it went up to 140 with a pull then went back down quick to about 105-110 which seems good i dunno wtf is up with it lol sometimes it seems good and sometimes it doesnt. Maybe i got a bunch of air in my I/C system.

i can get your temps way way below that if you want to pm me...
mine went up less on average 10 degrees from iat1 - iat2, no mechanical problems to deal with and no heat problems either
