Filter Options for Airbox mod...

Ok, I've been searching, all I've come up with is the AEM 21-2110DK dryflow. What other filter options are there for the airbox mod, that simply clamp on? Does the stock K&N E-0777 work?

Any 3.25" opening filter will clamp on no probs. 3.5" will work sometimes (test fit). JUst have to make sure it isn't too wide (unless you are cutting the whole casing away) - few are too long.

As long as you get the right coupler you can put just about any filter on the maf cover. After I fucked up my weapon r filter I just through on an apc dry flow imitation I got from autozone for 20 bucks...incredibly loud.

I'm converting to a cai soon and will probably run a super mega flow filter in the near future I like to try different things and I'm looking for some more sound, it won't necessarily flow better. If clearance is an issue (between the housing and the ground) the hks mushroom filters are the shortest filters I know of; expensive though.

I don't care what filter it is, as long as it bolts right up. Someone get Andrew a filter, and I'll put it on for him. Poor guy tried to get Speed and Truck World to do it for him.

bump for input. Part numbers on what you used would be awesome.

Well i know that the K&N E0777 won't work , thats the stock drop in replacement with nothing to clamp to. Alot of people used the K&N E-1009 and it clamped on fine.
