Finally Got The Balt Running Again!

Well since I'm still waiting for my twinscrew to be retested and finished up so I can reinstall later on, and my balt hadn't ran since mid August, it was time to take some action. I got a loaner blower and ordered a couple parts, and tonight she fired up and ran strong once again. I'm rocking the same 2.6" pulley setup I was running before. I'm going to try and hit the dyno Saturday to see if I can to dial in my methanol injection, and then it's on until I deploy later this month.

I might just even get one of my buddies to tape a little friendly race between my buddy driving my Integra and myself driving the Cobalt to if you guys are interested.

Snout seal blew at 75mph on the highway, and all the oil came out if the blower. That's about it in a nutshell. Still awaiting the new snout design to be tested so I can get her back.

I'm going to go ahead and spiffy up my tune for the cooler weather if we get some. It was like 91* out yesterday! What can I say, I love Charleston's weather!

From driving around the Cobalt today, I can tell that the Integra will be faster. Hopefully I can get the meth dialed in to make a more even playing field.

I just got back from a two week TDY in Seattle/Tacoma area. It was freaking crazy cold there! I forze my A$$ off when it was snowing and stuff. Plus, all the damn rain and no sunshine sucked too!

Meth kit is working great! Now it's time to mess around with the tune.
