Becase zzp states you don't need 60s with the m62. But it seems they feel you need to be tuned leaner. 3.0 and 50 s are fine just pointless to me.

im really just trying to stay conservitive, read an artical where gm were testing the gm stage 3 and actually had a 2.8 in testing and at times over spun the supercharger. 2.9 would have been ok i guess, but the 3.0 just semed like a better choice to me personally.

you realize that the phenolic spacer comes with a gasket, right? So there was no need to buy another one. Also, unless you're planning on hitting the autox, you won't need the tower bar as these cars are well planted from factory. And unless you're planning on going with any higher power goals than what that's going to produce, you definitely won't need another clutch.

You'll over spin the supercharger depending on final rev... The thing about overspining is are you always 100% throttle. Smaller pulleys give better lowend Tq and midrange and it give you a great ramp in power

you'll be fine with what you have. If anything, I would probably spend the extra cash on an option b tank and call it a day. I wouldn't stick with the canned tune from zzp either. Find a reputable tuner and get a custom tune.

i have the optin B kit and the bracket. also mexi loco, i was unsure that the spacer came with the super charger gasket. already ordered so i guess ill have another lol.

talk to zoomer or ryan. Actually, email them. They're more than willing to work with you. Nothing against you or anything, but this is also why you should talk to them before you purchase their products. Most of the vendors are not afraid to elaborate on their products, especially if it means a potential sale.

ok thanks will do, one more thins, i ordered the AIS stage 1 trunk mount meth kit, what PSI should i set it to kick on so it will be ok with the zzp PCM. (it is tuned for meth)

The spacer comes with only intake gaskets. It does not come with the charger gasket. But you can reuse the charger gasket quite a few times so I wouldn't put it on right away. Always nice to have a spare

i honestly have no idea. I would contact AIS. The vendor is very nice and doesn't mind spending hours talking on the phone with you.

parts came friday, got my 3.0 pulley on, s/c oil changed and zzp coupler added. pheolic intake spacer installed, dual pass plate installed, injectors installed, new pcm installed, strut tower bar installed, throttle body spacer installed/waiting for meth kit. heat exchanger is installed. today im gonna be installing all the hoses/breathers, ill be putting my lowering springs on, tranny mounts and the s/c on the car and the belt. wednesday my AIS meth kit will be here, ill have everything else done by then, hopefully all tommorow, im planning on starting the car up once the meth is installed. ill also be ordering a new clutch/flywheel and some other odd and end parts on monday.

Did you buy all those parts seperate? wouldve saved a little if you orderd the stage 2 or 3 package all together then seperate... I basicly have the same setup as you. 2.9 stage 3 kit, phenolic spacer, dual pass, option B. and badmab header + zzp3" catted DP, but im not installing until spring time.... got a CAI and catback on ATM plus some other goodies... and GMPP upgraded LSJ clutch from CED is all you need. reasonable price too. that whats im geting in the future. any other clutch is over kill and you will be spending twice as much..

well i got the car started today, meth will be here wednesday, and yes i kno dont drive or rev car without meth, i only idle the car to get the coolant flowing and back into thr system. i didnt ahve to do a security relearn, BUT i got a CEL, its the crankshaft relearn code, i found that out with my scanner, how can i get rid of this? will it be alright to run it with the light on once i get my meth kit installed and working just to take it to the dealer? the dealer is about 40 min away.
