i bought the car with the 3.0 on it...i have a 2.7 i want on it but need the rest of the s3 stuff to go with...previous owners were highly retarded because they had the car less than 3 months and had it repo'd

yea, with stock injectors/tune you are pretty close to maxing out the stock injectors, a 3.0 pulley isnt a huge drop, but it could just be enough to make the injectors go static, i highly suggest you get #50, or #60 injectors and a retune. if you want the 2.7. also zzp dual pass with opt B kit, and even a heat exchanger. some people on here have also had good luck with the phenolic intake spacer ( i installed mine) but havent got to test it. meth would also help you out.

ya i planed on 60# inj( i was told to get 80# to be safe) with s3 h/e dual pass, catback with long tube headers, hp tune or trifecta, i havent heard bad things about either so i have no idea which would be better. basically making it full stage 3 with "no short cuts or maybe i can do with out this" kind of thing

i honestly think 60's would be fine, unless you plan to run e-85 sometime. a good dyno shop with hp tuners would put you with a good tune, trifecta is pretty good from what i hear also.

60's is more than enough for a 2.7....but you need to keep that son-bitch cool. First thing's first....either get a stock pulley on that s/c or get at least 42's and a half-way decent tune so you don't make those stock injectors go static. As it is, those stockers are maxed out on the stock pulley; they're known to go static very early in the rpm band with anything lower than the stock pulley.
