Well I just installed my K&N cai, and I mst say that the throttle responce seem to be a little more crisp. Im not sure what it did for the top end but so far low end and mid range seem to be a bit more responsive. I Like!!
Now Im in the saving mode for my full exhaust, dp w/cat and cat back, not sure which one Im gonna go with, looking at the Megan, w/zzp cat/dp or the Random Tech's full system.

I looked at ARK, and had a system of theres on my Tiburon GT and loved how it sounded along with some LT headers, but it is a bit pricy. Thats why Im looking at the Megan and the ZZP, and I wouldnt have to wait as long to save.
yeah i got my ark for 350 locally so no wait for shipping. i'd get the megan but check out youtube first by typing in megan cobalt and check out some sound clips. i was going to get the megan but i found that i could get this one w/e i wanted i just did lol im installing it friday

One question for those who also have the K&N intake, mine seems to be realy close to the ABS lines, it looks like it just about touches one of them. Did anyone else notice the same thing and did anyone move/bend slightly the line to make for more clearance? I know the lines will move with little effort but I just wanted to know if anyone else ran into the same thing.
Oh and on a side note the intake I took off the car, I dont know who made it and it was installed at the same time as the stage2 by the previous owner had a grove rubed into it which I think went through the intake tube, and was causing the car to run rough at times, an allowing unmetered air to enter the intake, I say this cause my car runs GREAT no stumbling or hesitation upon leaving a light under normal load and my MPG has never been better I was getting 25mpg under normal driving going to and from work, and just today it is at 31mph (holyshit). Thank god for a good intake.

Change it out soon or you will be letting unmetered air into the intake, and you might notice the car not be as strong or as I did I had a stumble and hesitation problem after driving for a while then stoping at a light, then continuing down the road the car would stumble and hesitate. Since installing the new k&n intake and not have any holes worn into it is drives so smooth and mpg has gone way up.
Still would like to know from other k&n intake users if they too noticed that the intake tube just touches the abs lines and if they moved the lines slightly to give some clearance?
