First mod

I plan on getting a cold air intake for my car, I was thinking of aem. I know it is just a short pipe and filter, but I can get it for $80 new and I want the supercharger wine. You all think thats a good deal.

in my opinion for what reason? fitment issues, CEL's. $200+ price tag. no thanks This way here, you dont even need to put it back to stock bc no1 knows you have an intake, you still get the supercharger whine, and its not like the stock piping is majorly restrictive. AND you get the dryflow filter .. which i paid 55 bucks alone for.

Does anyone know if you can buy the injen with the short ram only? I got one for my old accord for $89 and the lowest I can find for my Cobalt is like $220.

if you want to look at it that way, then do the friggin airbox mod and save you some more coin... aem slacked on this design... it is pointless... it gets the same effects as the airbox mod...

plus... here i have no fitament issues and guess what... NO CEL...

I have the AEM in mine, and I like it. Simply put. it fits; it works; it's cheap; and no CEL.

exactly why i did the airbox mod. no way im payin $160 for the aem. but for 80 bucks id go for it when the filter alone is like $55.
