First Test Drive

And I must say, I am impressed. I didn't have high hopes for the car...but I must say I liked it, besides a few points...which I will get to...well I test drove the new Tint Red, which looks GREAT. I would opt for the extra 300 for it...that blue or silver, haha!

Well I sat in there...they didn't have (of 2) any g85 :*(. The regular leather seats I don't like...but I sat in recaros in a redline and loved them, so I know the seats will be great if I grab a SS. The Shifter was pretty good, I thought it was going to be better...but just a little worse than I though...how is the short throw shifter, from B&W? I believe...? The steering wheel I actually like...I just wish it was like an inch smaller in diameter...I LOVE smaller steering wheels, RSX and Si do it good. The GTI is my fav sorry, haha. THe stereo was actually good, I am GLAD a sub with tweeters is now standard than an option, that is GOOD. The stereo setup was actually nicer than I thought, No room for 4 people, just 2...but I have NO PROBLEM with that Good Trunk space...which is GOOD for me, I have to lug camera equipment.

Now the actual driving...The noise, AWESOME! Just awesome, I love the whine in the supercharger, even at low revs I can hear it, so GOOD! I can just imagine what it would sound with stage 2, intake, and full exhaust! OMG!!!!! I heard online clips...it sounds WAY better in real life!!! The cluster gauges were good, I do like them how they just combine real nice. Rear view of course is blocked by the wing...but thats ok, still looks better than the delete option...but I do like totally wingless also.

Overall...I was impressed, I didn't have my hopes up a whole lot...the sound was better than I thought, I didn't really get on it completely...but I did 3/4 throttle 1st and 2nd...felt good, pulls really nice...power everywhere...Superchargers rule

Anywho, now I have a harder decision... haha

Thought I would share with you all, seeing how I always talk and never did drive one yet, but now I have

oh yea the boost gauge is nice too

while the car really doesnt fit 4 ppl well, dont jump to conclusions too quickly. I've had 2 (large) people in the back and they fit surprisingly well.

trunk space is awesome, but that opening is sooooooo small.

if you like the sound of that supercharger, you really should hear on with an intake in person. 10x the noise

Really like my SS/SC, though it did not run really good until I ran several tanks of 93 through it; dealerships only put 87 in them. Hope you end up with SS/SC, very good performance vehicle for the $.
